This grand old cabin offers all the modern amenities of today, but also showcases the period design and charm of a simpler time. From the open beam ceilings to the honey colored hardwood floors, Escondite exudes a rustic warmth and beauty seldom found.

The dining area (seating up to 8) is perfectly situated with gorgeous river views. The French doors lead to the deck; making it a cinch to serve food hot off the grill and onto the table.

You can't have too many cooks in this kitchen. Besides being aesthetically pleasing, this modern kitchen is thoughtfully laid out. It's sure to please even the fussiest cooks.

Here everyone can comfortably gather round for firelight conversations and cocktails, family games or just relax with a movie. The wood burning stone fireplace makes a wonderful backdrop to whatever you choose.

The master bedroom is outfitted with a king size bed and its own private bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

The private master bathroom, located through the master bedroom, includes a double vanity and shower/tub combination.

The queen size bedroom has a quiet cozy feel with its bedside lighting and charming bead board paneling.

The third bedroom features a full bed. This interior room is quiet and cozy but has a lovely skylight that helps it feel light and airy.

The second full bath with shower stall is accessible to the common areas as well as the second and third bedrooms.

The hot tub is ideally situated overlooking the river and redwoods beyond. It's the perfect place to watch the sunset with a glass of local wine.

It's 10am (in March) and the deck is already basking in sunlight. With this gorgeous southern exposure, you too can bask in sunlight all day long while taking in the beautiful views.

From the main deck, stairs take you down to a patio and garden area as well as this observation deck. With outdoor seating, it's yet another place to sit and take it all in.

Stick your feet in, cannonball, launch the kayaks and canoe (included), or drop a line in and sip on a cold one. It's the best place to spend a lazy summer day.

Please Note: most Holidays are an additional 10%

County tax is 11% on top of home rental cost.

Cleaning Fee: $140 (includes linens).

Damage Fee: In lieu of the standard security deposit there will be a non refundable damage fee of $40.00, which will relieve renters of the costs for all unintentional and incidental damage to the rental home or its contents up to a maximum of $500. The damage fee DOES NOT cover intentional damage, excessive cleaning (including dirty dishes), unscheduled hot tub drain/refill, loss of a watercraft, or damage resulting from any violation of the rental agreement (i.e. exceeding the maximum number of guests), house rules, or dog rules.

Refundable Dog/Pet Deposit: $50 per animal

$20 dollar booking fee (non-refundable).
