Perched on a hill just steps from downtown Occidental, the Occidental Victorian is a true Victorian farmhouse surrounded by effusive gardens, with spectacular views of Occidental and the hills beyond.

Every room is full of windows and has been lovingly furnished with pieces that combine modern comfort with classic style and beauty. Take in the restful view of town from these bay windows.

More bay windows and a cozy wood-burning stove grace the dining room. The built-in has unusual scroll-work designs that date from the turn of the century.

The charming country kitchen is spacious and light-filled, and provides a great place for friends and family to gather while you prepare local fare.

The downstairs suite is cozy and private, with a comfortable full size bed and views of the side gardens.

An adjoining sitting room comes with a large TV and games, and offers a quiet escape for some evening reading. The sofa folds out to provide an additional private sleeping area if so desired.

The upstairs master bedroom is large and light, with views of the gardens on one side, and a birds-eye view of downtown Occidental in front.

The second upstairs bedroom is called the "Dormitory" because it's so long and includes both a queen bed and two twin beds.

These sweet twin beds are at the other end of the "Dormitory". It's great for families or friends, and makes a great hideout for kids!

Downstairs you'll find a separate office overlooking the front porch and gardens. With wifi and two desks, it's perfect for people who want to get away yet stay connected.

The two bathrooms are gleaming works of art, with roomy tubs and period-style fixtures.

Out back you'll find a large deck with plenty of seating and a gas grill for outdoor dining. In summer the entire property is in bloom. Relax and take in the bucolic views while sipping a nice glass of local wine.

There are so many sweet spots for relaxing and enjoying the ambiance of this quaint town.

Prices for Occidental Victorian
Please Note: most Holidays are an additional 10%

County tax is 11% on top of home rental cost.

Cleaning Fee: $125 (includes linens).

Damage Fee: In lieu of the standard security deposit there will be a non refundable damage fee of $40.00, which will relieve renters of the costs for all unintentional and incidental damage to the rental home or its contents up to a maximum of $500. The damage fee DOES NOT cover intentional damage, excessive cleaning (including dirty dishes), unscheduled hot tub drain/refill, loss of a watercraft, or damage resulting from any violation of the rental agreement (i.e. exceeding the maximum number of guests), house rules, or dog rules.

$20 dollar booking fee (non-refundable).
