River's Edge Cottage - Guerneville, California

River's Edge Cottage is a beautifully furnished two bedroom riverfront home, with amazing river views and river access. This dock is ideal for taking a dip or for launching your kayak.

The living room has a pull-out couch, gas stove, and cozy chairs, perfect for reading a book or taking a nap. It looks out to the large front yard, ideal for a volleyball or croquet game.

The kitchen has a gas stove, dishwasher, and everything you need to make a gourmet meal. The dining area has French doors leading to the back deck...

... where you'll find seating, a gas grill and incomparable views - the perfect place for enjoying your morning coffee or preparing a barbeque feast. Although this property is shared with River's Edge Treehouse, the units are staggered with the Cottage set further back, which affords river views at both units as well as maximum privacy for guests.

The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and plenty of windows. It's a quiet, peaceful retreat.

The master bedroom boasts French doors leading to the deck and providing an afternoon breeze. It has a comfortable king bed with luxurious linens and a down comforter.

The adjacent studio bedroom is perfect for another couple, grandparents, or older kids. It has a queen-sized futon, TV with DVD, and small but fully equipped kitchen.

The large back lawn slopes gently down to the river and an observation deck. The observation deck is furnished with chairs and is ideal for watching the wildlife on the river or checking out the kayakers as they go by. While you can see the River's Edge Treehouse (situated on the same property) from the Cottage, the river views are still grand.

Few properties on the river afford such uninterrupted views. This sweet cottage has a wide front porch, perfect for lazy summer days, and a large front yard.

The property is minutes from the charming towns of Guerneville and Monte Rio. It is located in Sonoma County, famous for its vineyards... drive ten minutes to the nearest wine tasting. Salt Rock Beach where the Russian River meets the Pacific is 20 miles away and Armstrong State Park, with its towering Redwoods and hiking trails is minutes from Guerneville.

Please Note: most Holidays are an additional 10%

County tax is 11% on top of home rental cost.

Cleaning Fee: $120 (includes linens).

Damage Fee: In lieu of the standard security deposit there will be a non refundable damage fee of $40.00, which will relieve renters of the costs for all unintentional and incidental damage to the rental home or its contents up to a maximum of $500. The damage fee DOES NOT cover intentional damage, excessive cleaning (including dirty dishes), unscheduled hot tub drain/refill, loss of a watercraft, or damage resulting from any violation of the rental agreement (i.e. exceeding the maximum number of guests), house rules, or dog rules.

Refundable Dog/Pet Deposit: $50

$20 dollar booking fee (non-refundable).
